Nature of the project

AERA Recovery is a non-commercial, open-source community project for Android recovery environments. This website presents recovery builds, release information, source code, runtime plugins, checksums, and related technical documentation.

AERA Recovery is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Android device manufacturers, chipset vendors, Telegram, GitHub, or any other third party referenced on this website.

Use at your own risk

Android recovery software performs privileged, low-level operations. Unlocking a bootloader, flashing a recovery or image, activating an incomplete or non-bootable slot, modifying or formatting partitions, decrypting storage, restoring backups, installing plugins, and using root or maintenance tools can result in:

• complete or partial data loss
• boot loops, failed updates, or an unbootable device
• damage to partition layouts, encryption metadata, or stored backups
• loss of device features, warranty consequences, or permanent device damage

Stable labels reduce risk but do not guarantee compatibility. Nightly, unofficial, and development builds may contain incomplete or untested changes.

AERA plugins can execute privileged code inside recovery. A faulty, malicious, incompatible, or incorrectly used plugin may access, modify, or erase device data. Install plugins only from sources you trust and understand.

Before proceeding, keep independent backups of important data, charge the device sufficiently, verify the downloaded file and checksum, and confirm the exact device model and codename, build channel, intended partition, bootloader state, firmware requirements, and instructions. Do not flash or execute anything if you are uncertain about its purpose or compatibility.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Builds, plugins, downloads, checksums, links, documentation, and other information are provided as available and without warranty. Availability, completeness, compatibility, accuracy, security, successful decryption, successful backup or restoration, and suitability for a particular purpose are not guaranteed. The project does not promise individual support, recovery of lost data, or restoration of a damaged device.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the operator and project contributors are not liable for data loss, corrupted backups, device damage, loss of use, warranty loss, financial loss, or other direct or indirect consequences arising from downloading, installing, flashing, modifying, or using the project. This does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory liability for intentional misconduct.
